On average how much will LCD/CTR widescreen televisions come down in price during the Chirstmas/January sales?

Would like to get a 28" widescreen philips tv, but would like to save a little dosh

1. you usually find that the bigger brands dont come down that much unless they are bringing out a newer model. but you might be lucky. my advice is get a lesser known brand because these are also made by the big names with just a different label. i think goodmans is made by phillips but im not 100%
